Cash in hand!!!

I'd rather go with someone in the Toyota scene.

The dealeship price was really high IMO ($540). I can get the parts for $85 (shipped).
According to the math the labor comes to 7hrs at $65/hr. If I had a flat place I'd give it a shot. I'm sure I can bang it out myself. Unreal prices at the dealership. Really hungry for money. (vent). If they would've quote something like 3 hrs labor + parts it would've cool. I know that for a Toyota tech with lifts it would take a max of 1.5 to do the job.

Anyway.

I'd rather deal with someone honest who can give me a good deal.

Hit me up @ us_tes@yahoo.com

My advice...

Dont get an aftermarket pump.

Not worth it.
Get OEM and spend the extra$$ up front.

Try this site for dealer coupons in your area. Many of them have coupons for timing belt replacement for the I4 for around $199. I would then ask how much more to change the water pump while they are inside there. That may get you the best deal when using a dealer.

Thanks man that will definteley come in handy.

I'm trying really hard to find a mechanic . I got 6 Ads running on Craigslist but it seems like in Indiana not too many people use it. I just moved here recently. Back when I live on the East Coast (DC metro) we handled nearly all kind of business on CL (from couches to houses)...

Hey Mike I just tried this and it says no dealers found. I tried my zip, then city+state then I tried dealership name, then I tried the same with several cities on the East coast with Toyota dealers and it can't find anything. Do you think it is broken or there are no dealers?

Must've been user error. It is working now.

I got the $199 coupon + additional $ for tensioners.

Thanks again

I'm going to hold off an wait to see if I can find someone who can do it.
If not I'll bite the bullet and use the coupon.
