4th Generation No start,no power, no nothing

ok so a few weeks ago i changed out a single plug wire cause i couldnt get it to seat right, but it sitll made a connection, then a week or so later it start hestiting occasionally. then this past weekend the clock went out, and the car would shut off while driving and restart and keep running. then yesterday i went to start it and i turned the key and all the lights came on as usual, then went i went to start it i just got a click and everything turned off and i got nothing. I checked the terminals and they are fine, the battery is only a few months old. I also had a power converter pluged in a few times the past few weeks, not sure if that has anything to do with it. i think it may be the main fuse,100amp. i cant tell if its good or not, its different than other fuses i've seen. the car is a 2000 camry CE 5pd

your battery may be new but did you ever think of your alternator? It may not be recharging your battery enough and therefore you won't have enough amps to turn the starter hence the clicking noise and other power issues. Take the car to an autozone or something and have em test teh batter and alternator, if the car isnt mobile strip them and take it, removing an alternator is very easy.

I agree with ag6286. It sounds like the alternator is not recharging the battery. The fact that the clock went out and the car died while driving is kind of a clue. If you can, try recharging the battery from an external battery charger and see if it now starts. If it does, drive it to a place like Autozone as ag6286 suggested, and have the battery and charging system checked out.
