3rd Generation Brake pads - Raybestos?

Previous owner of Camry mounted squeaky pads and I have to replace it. What do you think guys of Raybestos ceramic products? Anyone using it? What are your preferences, recommendations? I read ceramic pads are very quiet, last longer, do not generate noticable dust and brake better.
My primary question is which brake pads type fits my auto. When I choose Toyota Camry 1995 on Raybestos website it seems I need PGD476 (front V6) and when I choose Toyota Camry 1996 it seems I need PGD697 (front V6). The problem is the date of manufacture of my car is 09/1995, however model year 1996 (VIN says so). If anyone knows which pads will fit please help.

The car could be a 1996 made in 1995 to be on the market on 01/1996. Go to the Raybestos website and dig through to find brake pads (choose the car year range of 1995-1996). Pick you part number(s) then click on them to see the part dimensions and compare to what you have.

FWIW, I'm not a fan of their "QS" (Quiet Stop) series.

Sounds like the greatest thing on earth, but I've cracked a couple sets of those already. Perhaps they've changed the blend to improve that possibility, but I didn't like 'em.

I like either OEM (you won't get any quieter than OEM if you're looking for quiet) or a brand from Autozone called "Pinnacle" (It's typically their most expensive pads, but you won't see the name Pinnacle anywhere. It's *not* part of their Duralast line, nor that Beck Arnley stuff. It's Carbon Metallic and they are simply the best pads I've EVARRRR used. They grab like there's no tomorrow and tolerate heat amazingly well.

Thanks. I will avoid QS.
I would have to visit my mechanic to check the size and fitment, so maybe someone just knows it and share the knowledge.

If you go OEM, get the shim kit if you don't already have them installed. Helps keep then brakes quiet.

I'm using the PGD562C (PG Plus Premium Ceramic) fronts for my 97 and it seems worse than the OEM pads. It's quiet and there is some brake dust. I'd stay away from Raybestos now. If you search around, people have good experiences with Akebono, Hawk, etc.

So I switch to Akebono. They are expensive though.
