4th Generation Where to put ballast for HID kit??

Well I'm going to be putting a HID kit in my car tomorrow but I dunno where I should place the ballast?? I have a 97 camry v6 engine and the right side is all cramed up with the air intake and battery. I had a 6k kit before and the only place I put the ballast was behind the battery and in between the air intake and battery for the right side(if your looking to your car from the front). While the left side I ducted it in beside the windshield liquid fill up( don't worry it was far hidden from the tube). But I just want to hear some suggestions that some of you who has HID kits installed can tell me where I could put my ballast? or even better screw them on so it wont shift around if that ever happens.

Thanks

last time, i put mine underneath the headlight. You can put them also on near the airbox filter and near the ABS for the other side.

bump...

so I just got myself a HID kit and I want to know where I should place the driver side ballast @? I don't want to put it underneath the headlight as I may have to remove it someday or whatever happens. Any suggestions where will be a good secure, dry place for the ballast?

Thanks

I had mine next to the washer fluid, it seems to get wet every time i do a car wash or it rains... I just wanted to know will water kill the ballast and is it better to place it in a dry place?

Yes, it's always better to have it on a DRY yet secure place on the passenger side. I'm placing mine in a little hold thats beside the windshield washer fluid insert thingy. Its very secure and dry but it is a bit tricky to get it back out once you put it in. I had to force mine out eventually when I had my first kit haha..
