3rd Generation Sticky oil?

Hey guys! I have 1993 Camry V6 LE. During my last oil tank I ran a half can of seafoam though the engine about 500 miles or so before I changed the oil. It's been about 1000 miles since that oil change and the oil still LOOKS clean. It's pretty clear, but when I rub it in my fingers it feels a little gritty and a little sticky. When I pull the dipstick out I don't think I'm getting an accurate reading because the oil goes pretty far up the stick, but only on the edge of it. I'm getting a little nervous and will probably change the oil this weekend. Does the stickyness of the oil signify anything? I've seen really dirty, gritty oil before, but never sticky.

Thanks!

dont know about the sticky but theres always a small amount of oil that developes on the edge of the dipstick, its pretty normal.

Sometimes you get residual crap (grit) from the seafoam in your crankcase, so I would just dump the oil and change it. A good oil should come out relatively dirty, which means it's cleaning your engine.

I've been having the same issues, except i notice it when i've changed the oil and it feels somewhat sticky. That was my last 5 qts of Performance Shell oil, and i'll probably go back to castrol or pennzoil.

Currently I'm using castrol gtx high mileage. I'll probably just change the oil to be safe. I've read in some other threads that you might have to do that after a seafoam treatment.
