Car Going to hell again?

Ok so I moved my battery to my trunk today so the other one in the trunk would have some company....

After I checked my wiring and stuff everything was good to go. Secured the battery terminals, car started in one shot

NOW... I can feel the car vibrating a little more than it normally does... Then I'm listening to the exhaust and its making like this chugging noise... like Chug chug chug...

When I put the car into drive it starts to shake or vibrate more! same for reverse....

Did I screw something up while i was wiring??

Unless you touched any ingnition wiring there is no way you could have made it idle rough because of the battery being relocated. Clean your TB, get some plugs, and auto tranny's like to play that little game of vibrating like hell. Mounts?

The mounts are new...

I have some new plugs, Im gonna put them in this weekend.

I was also told that my muffler is bad by the shop when i went for inspection about 2 months ago... but I was trying to remmeber if it was chugging before...

But the vibrating is new... wasnt doing it yesterday thats for sure.

3rd Generation

Check your wiring one more time. This time look specifically for grounding faults in the line. A bad ground somewhere might cause a retard in your ignition timing. Just a random thought. Good Luck.

I had a feeling it could be the ground. Im gonna clean the spot and upgrade the wire.

Both batteries are grounded correctly. I have a total of 3 grounds alltogether

Just that one ground from the block to the chasis i think may be it...

And each battery is grounded to chasis

This is the ground from the block to the chasis

venom: pretty sure i didnt drill thru anything.

memphis: From the block to chasis im using the stock wire with a stinger terminal

Each battery is linked with 0 gauge wire and their grounds are 0 gauge as well.

Edit: Thats the stock grounding point btw up in the picture.

dont know if u did but make sure the guage wire is larger then stock to compensate for the extra distance.

this sounds like an ignition problem which wouldnt have much to do with the batteries if its starting well. id check the sparkplugs and run some tests to see if any are miss fireing to rule that out as a possiblility.

Does the motor ground need to be on the battery? Cause i have it grounded to the chasis

Otherwise I will need to clean that spot fom the chasis to the motor and see if that works

I have 0 guage going fromthe alt to the battery in the back and 0 gauge between the batteries and everything else is 4 gauge.

Ok I just finished upgrading the grounds. It was actually two i upgraded. One of the batteries I changed to a 0 gauge and the ground up front which is actually for the tranny I changed to a 4 gauge ground.

It still has the problem.

The idle is at a normal speed. You dont really feel the vibration.

When you shift into drive and give it a little gas and let off thats when it starts to shake ALOT

I have 4 gauge wiring going from the fuse box and back and then I have another 4 gauge that goes from the starter I think all the way back to the batteries.

Any ideas ? I still dont know why its acting up...
