possibly a bad fuel pump, have u tried cleaning out the throttle body? is the car hard to start when cold or does it just die when stopping?

does your car stall if you rev the motor and hold it for a couple of seconds? if not, then its not the fuel filter or clogged fuel line because the motor is drawing more fuel at the higher rpm. since its stalling at the low rpm, i agree with popeye and say its the IAC. might as well clean the throttle body as well while youre at it. this is a cheap and relatively easy fix-it.

Clean the throttle, body paying particular attention to the square or diamond shaped port in the base of the throttle body. That's the passage leading to your idle air control valve. Spray the cleaner liberally down that port and let it soak a bit while you go on to clean the rest of the throttle body.

Some mornings its hard to start up on 1st crank but not every say maybe 2 days out the 7 day, the throttle was clean at 90K by dealer. but I will search and clean it again myself. if I rev the motor car does not stall. only when I come to stops at lights it idles real low then just cuts off, takes about 5-7 cranks to start back up. i will check this IAC thanks a lot for the help. will keep you updated

Thats the basic how to. Give it a try before attempting anything harder, i have seen several cases where cleaning the TBI fixed a stalling issue.

If the IAC is the cause of the problem, you will/must notice SOME improvement in the stalling issue after doing this or the problem may be elsewhere.

If you cleaning the tb per the post, and notice some improvement but the problem is still there occasionally - remove the IAC for a more thorough cleaning and reinstall. If still no joy, the IAC may need to be replaced...but at only 129,000 i dont think thats too likely. Note that your IAC may or may not look like the one in the images.
