whats more important to ya, drop or performance? i have sprint and although they dont get the best reviews, they have done well for me plus they have one of the largest drops at 1.8(2" in actuality). but eibach and H&R are rated among the best i believe but have less of a drop. with the gr2s u might want somthing stiffer, and the sprint arnt the stiffest.

I went with HR's...stiffen the ride quite abit at first, but it getting smoother as they settle. Gave enough drop for me, more in the front than rear..check the FAQ's, that helped me make a final decision on which to buy!

ok i made my decision and went with H&R springs
good looks, and GR-2's are softer so they may ride lower
they are sure to really compliment my rims once they arrive at about the same time

now i forget which type of strut my GR-2's but i may need to buy upper strut mounts for all corners because of the issue of how they changed the way struts were built on gen 3 camrys 1995 and 1996
this means that with the strut munts i have on the car now(which would be wise to change even if they were the correct part) are the wrong part
the older struts(like mine) would rotate at the botom of the spring(fronts only) whereas the newer ones would rotate on a bearing at the top on the strut mount where it meets up with the body
so if you catch my drift, if i didnt get new strut mounts(the correct ones or replacements) my springs would basically "twist" in their positions unable to turn wiht the strut
as far as i knowhtats not good
i know theres another thread that talks about this but i needed to clear things up
i know where i can get new ones but until my struts arrive i wont know what type they are

glad someone finally bought thoes wheels, he had been sellin them for months. i really like how ur drop is lower in front Joe. i got kinda the same effect by removing the extra weight from the tire and rear seat, not as good as urs though.

My question is exactly the same: what springs fit best for KYB GR-2s? Comfort and durability are the only features I expect from suspension.

then u want none of the above. thoese are all lowering/perfoamance springs and the ride quality will be less with any of them. if u want ride comfort and reliability then go with OEM Toyota springs. if u do want somthing a little stiffer with out lowering it then go with the OEM SE camry springs, but they are a bitch to swap in yourself.

One more question. I read KYB is the strut OEM supplier for Toyota Camry. Which company is the supplier of springs?

y gotta replace strut mounts to avoid decaying boots and rubber seats that will hurt your whole settup
depending on which type of GR-2 mine are ill need to get either type of strut mount, so im guessing most likely a gen 3.5 style with the rotating part on the top rather than my style with the bearing on the botom of the spring
