There is a chance they might rub because of the offset.

Aha..I definetley don't want the rubbing...well someone has some for sale here and I can get a nice deal. That's for heads up. Now I have to see if I can put the 2 front on and see if they rub.

The offset on the Gen5 wheels are +50mm and the Gen 4 wheels are +40 IIRC.

When people put IS300 or Gen 5 Camry wheels, +50mm offset, on Gen4s, they tend to have rubbing problems in the back, not the front.

4th Generation

Trd4life,

What is the rim size? The reason why I'm asking this is because lexus rims are 17x7 and some people had problems mounting them on gen4. I'm trying to fit some 50mm offset rims from a suzuki but are still waiting for the tires. It might work if the rims are less than 7". Thats what Im hoping for for mine. They are 6.5" wide. The best way is to mount them and see if it rubs. Just my .02.

Btw, what is the steel rim size?
