3rd Generation Radio Operators Manual

Today, i got my first ever Toyota. I've been wanting one for quite some time and now i have a beautiful 1995 Toyota Camry. I got in the car and turned on the radio and im not gettting any sound from right side of the car. I think its just the balance guage but i dont even know how to adjust it. I looked on the radio and it says to pull the volume knob i did and it just comes off. I need some help. plz

You pull on the knob slightly and be turning it left and right. You can sort of feel when you have pulled hard enough to get it into the adjustment mode - of course if you pull off the knob you've pulled too hard.

It's hard to adjust, poor design. And welcome to the wonderful world of Camry's. I've had my '95 Camry for, oh, four days now. I'll be keeping the cassette player until I work my way through my old cassettes, then I'll probably drop in an Alpine and replace the speakers.

And speaking of the speakers, I thought the sound was off - playing with fade and balance I now realize that my front left speaker as well as my rear right speaker are out. Nice. I haven't had the time to check them out but I'll play around with the wires, hopefully something just came loose over the years.
