3rd Generation manual trans hard to shift in gears

i notice when im driving the shifting is getting harder. and when im in the car at home with the engine off i put the shifter through the gears i notice the same thing. had the clutch checked its still good . i cant figure it. any pointers on this subject

Lift the centre consol & lever boot. Lube the ball & rod joints with silicone grease . This helped me although I have always had trouble catching reverse. I also went to synthethic gear oil for improved performance in the cold-40! This also helped

shim lever??? like Davee said, a lot of times the shift linkage at shifter starts to stick. remove it and take apart what you can and lube each joint.

I agree, it has to be oiled once in awhile....
