4th Generation Unstable RPM's ?

I have a 2000 Camry and I notice just recently my RPM's when I start my car are unstable going up and down from 1,200 to 900 RPM's is this normal or what else might be the case?

no this isnt normal. but its normal when you start the car, the engine idles around 1600rpm then once the engine is warm it goes down to around 800rpm.

you might wanna clean the PCV valve n throttle body. I had the same problem long long time ago, the car would suddenly idle unstable (and before i know how to fix the problem, i just floor the car to about 5,000rpm, Put it in "N"). After I cleaned the PCV valve I havent had this problem.

Hope this will help you.
