97 5SFE balance shaft bearings

Hello from a newby

I am rebuilding the engine on my 97 5SFE and needed to disassemble the balance shaft assembly for cleaning. Engine had 3 spun rod bearings and I would like to replace the balance shaft bearings while I have it apart.
Has anyone been able to locate these bearings?
I have tried my local Import auto parts stores, machine shops and the dealer without any success.
Also does anyone know the torque specification for the bolts on the assembly, not the mounting bolts they are in the Haynes manual?
The Haynes manual says not to disassemble this unit but it had to be done for cleaning.

If you are doing anything with the balance shaft assembly you will need to adjust for gear lash. Since I am rebuilding a 5sfe engine I dropped the $60 ( an absurd price for the thing) for the SST (09224-74010-01) to measure the lash. All the tool is, is a ruler with three marks on it and a loop that clamps on the end of one of the balance shafts. The ruler has three marks, 10.5, 7 and 3.5 cm from the center of the balance shaft which the tool is attached to. You are supposed measure the lash from the third (10.5 cm mark). So long as you measure the lash from 10.5 cm, you do not need the tool. My guess is that you can make one of these tools out of a collar clamp with a straight piece of something attached to it or anything that will clamp on to the end of the shaft and accurately measure 10.5 cm in radius
