Front Bumper LIP Mod for Gen 3's

Bigbird told me about this mod! (thanks) I think it turned out pretty good! Different, cheap, and easy!! What ya think? Opinions are appreciated!

Its the lower portion from the from bumper of an 80's model Mercury Sable! Fits pretty good. I understand a Taurus of the same model will work too! $10.99 for the lip, 80 to color match it!...I post better pics this weekend when the weather clears some!

JON! The mud flaps are history too LOL!!

I'm personally not into under lip mods since they would scrape all the time (I use ramps). I just wanted to say that I really like your Japanese maple.

Almost like mine. Got mine off a TL. The pic is a bit outdated. I recently adjusted it so it fits a little better around the sides. Used zip ties and a drill to hold it up. i have yet to have problems with scraping.

Actually I can go out of gas stations and not scrape. But nah we found a spot and a way to move it up so the cap on the bottom and top will be hidden and it will be no lower than the lip. Also at the time the tires were underinflated so that made a little difference as well.

^^^Never noticed it before, but it does match!

The lip was fastened with the Christmas Tree Clips(8), simular to the link, only bigger and longer!
