3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
No school, don't have work yet and I have a whole free day. Looks good in pictures because camera doesn't see the scratches... its in such bad shape in person.
The tip is stock. I only had one when I got the car, the left side on fell off. My mechanic force screwed another one back on. The left one is really scratched up. Oh yeah, clay bar works wonders on removing the filth glued on the tip.
There's pollen here too, but it seems like ur pollen is more aggressive lol.
I'll trade the rims for something else hahaha, these things are heavy.
I roughly weighed the rims, they were a good 45lbs on my scale with tires. My scale is known give a lighter reading that what really is(it says I'm 162lbs but my doctor said I'm 171lbs). But in honest truth, the stock V6 rims are heavier....
The paint is in a very good condition, however the car is not. The paint has held up well for 14yrs, but 13yrs of carelessness has taken its toll in the form of scratches, dents, touch up marks, chips, etc. Only since 9 months ago when I took over the car did it shine once again, the paint was starting to oxidize already when I got it. The paint on this gen of Toyotas are very nice, the new cars can't compare.
BTW does anyone know anything about fixing rims? the IS rims are pitted, scratched, and rashed like no tomorrow. There is a huge gouge by one of the lug nut hole for some reason.
