Hey, just had a few questions about some exhaust. first if any one knows what the stock outlet of a 2000 camry is. im looking to run an apexi exhaust on it (any recommends?) but i dont knowif i should just install the muffler? or take it some where to do some cutom bends in new piping and then install the muffler? or last possibilty, a solara exhaust? fit yes or no? any help is appreciated, thanks guys
Thanks for the help. So if I'm looking at apexis should I look more for a solara can? Or can I pick one that might say lets goes normally on like a skyline? Or should I just take into consideration the pipe size and stock tubing size and get 1 that's familiar?
On a side note....does any one have positive feedback on the halos? The ones on ebay just as good?...thanks for all the help
there are very few kits fir the camry or the solara. but an exhaust shop can fit just about any muffer u choose. all u need to do is decide the look, the sound and how loud, then go from there.
there are very few bolt-on mufflers for the camry or the solara.
your best bet is to find a muffler that you like, and then take it to a shop that will then cut your stock muffler off along with the flange, and then weld the new one on

question....with the apexi..i love the apexi N1, but it appears that its only from cat back...meaning i would have to buy the whole set up for a different car and just take the muffler? a waste of money? or does anyone know if they have just the mufflers? if they do please help, i want the N1 but not the whole set up..thanks..another thing...will bolting the muffler to the stock pipes still sound good?
Yes it's called universal apexi n1 mufflers, if you bothered to even look up the apexi website which when buying a certain product normally you should have check out it's official website for the hell of it and you would see it. That's what I got a universal Apexi n1 but the naturally aspirated version, there are two versions of it a turbo and a NA type, the turbo is a bigger muffler. There are around $200 bucks for either version.

sorry don't think there is a universal version of that muffler, not even on their website it shows it does. The original apexi n1 is pretty light as it is and if you go by that, heres some advice * keep the stock resonator on* at the very least if you not going to buy a higher flowing resonator when doing a custom piping. Just stick with the NA version fo the muffler unless your turboing the car or if you have the v6 and plan to go with 2.5" pipes then get the turbo muffler.*don't have first hand experience on this one but seen vids and sound killer though* Hope I helped!!!
Also to make sure you bought the real deal it should be around $200 online.
