I've been hearing a noise on my car and have no idea what it is. When I brake, I hear a sound from the back of the car. It's similar to a creaking sound. This only happens when I brake. I've heard this noise for about two weeks now. It seems to start after I've been driving for a couple of minutes. Does anyones have any idea what this may be?

If it's rear discs, it could be the pad wear indicators contacting the rotors, telling you it's time to replace the pads and turn or replace the rear rotors. Mike
