Camry Exhaust system

Hey guys, I was wondering if yall could help me pick out an exhaust system for my Camry, (2000) LE, 5S-FE engine. I don't know what all you need to know, so if you need to know something else to help me just tell me. I was looking at either magnaflow or flowmaster. Willing to spend $800 on the system if need be (I have no idea how much they normally cost). I want a really DEEP sound, and not to loud, my friend has a Civic w/ some kind of cheap muffler and its REALLY loud and annoying. I don't want that, I just want a deep clean, not to loud sound. Thanx for your help!

magnaflow would get you a deep sound for sure, what i would do would be put a nice resonator and muffler on there with 2.25 in pipe from the cat back, that should give you a subtle deep tone.

My 5sfe camry was super loud and annoying, but thats because I was running ripp headers, ripp high flow cat, 2.25 in pipe and a magnaflow muffler with no resonator. The resonator is key to keeping the tone nice on the 5sfe IMO.

im a big fan of Magnaflow ... and with a resonator, the 5sfe isnt gonna be loud (since its not a big/powerful engine)

any of the above ... i think the cheapest route would be eBay for the parts themselves, but then you have to worry about seller integrity and authentic products, blahblahblah

no matter how you get the parts, you have to find a local muffler shop (preferrably one thats well-known) to get the parts hooked up & welded together

in terms of the muffler, which of the following do you like best:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=386

in terms of piping, youll havta ask dysk or one of the other guys ... ive never dealt with replacing piping

though not mentioned much, flowmaster gives a real nice sound. heres a clip of one on a civic, the 5s would prolly be slightly louder i believe.

the problem with flowmasters is that they are loud ... but they are very good mufflers IMO

Cool

Flowmaster sucks, use a real muffler that isn't restrictive & lets tons of overtones through.
