4th Generation fuel filter?

i dont know where my fuel filter is or how im supposed to change it....i have a 98 v6....i dont want too much fuel to get everywhere...i was wondering if there was a special technique?..help me out...thanks

yes...use rags and make sure you don't strip the nuts


it's usually stuck on pretty tight, so soak it tin penetrating oil for a couple of days as well. if all else fails, use locking pliers

Might be under the air intake box. That's where it was on my I4.

Use flare nut wrenches instead of regular open ended wrenches.

Do a forum search. There is alot of good info about the best way to deal with the fittings and bracket etc..
