What's the thing down the passenger's seat ? I hear time a go than is an "amplifier" for the sound system... I'm right ?? and how I know if works ?? or if is conected...

You got it. How do you know if it works? If it doesn't work, you won't have any sound.

yes, there is a small aplifier under the pasenger seat. its for the stock system only and cannot be used for much else. if the amp is bad or going bad, either the left set of speakers or the right set of speakers or all of the speakers will not work.

The amp under the seat was part of the upgraded sound system used mostly on the XLE models.
