JP Performance Headers & Smog legality?

Hi everybody. I would really like to purchase the JP Performance Headers for my 2001 Camry V6. I know that it has a high flow catalytic converter so it's not smog legal in California (or maybe other states too). So if I get it then my car can't be driven on the streets? I commute to school and work everyday so I usually put on mods that are CARB exempt, like my Injen SRI and TRD muffler. If I put on the headers would it really produce that much smog? Even on a well maintained car? Does anybody here have the headers? Please let me know how you deal with passing the smog test. Thank you.
