alternator

does any one know if it get an alternator from a later model camry (01) will it fit and operate properly on my 96? my alt is going prety quick right now and i need a replacement, i was looking for something that puts out a little more juice. any one know?

I'm not to sure about the fitment or output... but I believe some guys on here were using one from a highlander? not sure on the year but im sure they will chime in.

Alternatively you can get one off ebay from iraggi alts. Its a bit more (around 300) and it puts out 180 amps.

Are you sure its your alt? have you had it and your battery checked?

its a 4 cyl camry from what i have been reseraching so far it looks like it will fit, otherwise i will return it for the one from my year, other than that i have had the whole electrical system checked and i replaced the battery with another yellow top so im prety sure that its the alternator
