3rd Generation Do 95 5SFE 5sp comes with oil cooler?

As title... I seems like can't see that was installed... I compared mine to the repair manual... there was no coolant by-pass hoses around the oil filter, so can I assume that my car don't comes with one...

The automatic has one, same year/engine. Two hoses come off the oil filter mount.

My 95 Auto LE has one. You may be able to add one as it's only a sandwich block between filter and oil mount. You would need water connections at by-pass though. Maybe a wrecker vehicle could provide parts to adapt. Make sure previous owner (if any) did not remove and plug connections. I don't know how efficient these water to oil coolers are as the water is about 180+ degrees. If anyone has installed an oil temp gauge they will be able to tell you what temp the oil runs.

thanks for reply!
I think mine don't come with one from factory... not fair... 5spd don't have one...
I doubt there will be factory by-pass ready for the cooler... I will just leave it alone...
why I am asking this is because I plan to replace all the by-pass hoses...

Kitto, the real advantage of the factory water/oil cooler probably is heating the oil to temp faster, not really cooling it. I used to install aftermarket air/oil coolers on my vehicles until I learned oil technology has really advanced to withstand higher heat and stress. If you want the protect your oil and engine I would go with a synthetic oil, which is what I do now. You get better cold start properties with high heat protection. To offset the price you can go higher miles between changes.

thanks for advice, I am using synthetic oil already. I usually ran them for 5k-7k.
