White film on inside of windshield

and no i did not splooge on my windshield....

I have a little leak where the headers meet the exhaust, i think the gaskets gone bad.

When im driving i can smell exhaust, and their is a film on my windows... its like a white film that keeps coming back after i wash it off with windex or some other glass cleaner. Could it be from the exhaust leak???? Hows it get into the car??

coolant, mist/gas/film

Possible leak in hose or the condenser. especially since it is able to get fom inside the engine bay right on to the windshield.

or your refridgerant lines for the AC, pipe and hoses AC condenser.

You will trully need the power of the Sun to help you track it down. I had a similar car before and was only able to find the AC condenser leak with the hood up in direct sunlight to track down the "white splooge" in the engine.

good luck.

ive had a similar problem but it was just a result of moisture, ac and driving with my windows down that just caused a fine film of dirt on the inside of the windsheild. came back about once a month but was never a result of an ac or exhaust problem.

There is pobably an exhaust leak somewhere.

Two ways to find it:

1. Exhaust shop. pay like 40 bucks to get it on a rack in hunt it down.

or

2. Go to an open parking lot. Do a Seafoam treatment through the brakebooster line.
You will then see where the white puffs are coming from, other than your tail pipe.
This is how I found the leak in my exhaust maifold gasket.

try #2

good luck.
