Where does this connection go?

93 Camry V6 3VZ-FE

Guys,

Could you please help me recognize where this connection goes? It is a white connector next to the oil filter coming out.

Thanks,
Hemanth.

Mine's not plugged in to anything either. Must be for something not fitted to our cars.

the a/c compressor and water pump n whatnot is usually below the alternator, but maybe not for the 3VZ

Response to SilvaCam92:

A pic would help. I still think this is something not on a Camry 3VZ-FE but for some feature on a Lexus.

Cool

It goes to the actual oil pressure sensor, which is not installed in the Camry. It was only installed & hooked up on the ES / Windom's during that generation on that engine.

You could probably install the sensor & hook it up, but you know. There's not a gauge, or a scale to read it so it's worthless. All it does is light the red oil pressure light of death if the engine drops below around 4-6psi of oil pressure.
