Magnaflow #14859

do you think this would be a good choice for my 4cyl gen 3.5?
http://www.planetmagnaflow.com/shop/...14859-441.html

im aware of all the magnaflow and exhaust threads ... and planetmagnflow.com is listed as an authorized dealer on Magnaflow's website, so im assuming theyre legit

it seems like a good price, idk how much installation will be @ a local shop, but im hoping not much

i just havent seen anyone post which Magnaflow muffler they got, so i picked one that looked good

if anyone can identify Part #'s with video clips, plz do

im honestly not a fan of "cans". too ricey for me. full body mufflers like these will IMHO look better.

I had this one on my camry.

to install jsut the muffler should be around $50. I got a resonator and all piping from the cat back done for $170

i thought about getting an oval ... but i usually dont like dual tips unless its the V6 [to hold true to OEM styling] ... however the #14832 could be a possibility [its cheaper, too!] and the dual u had looks pretty good

and do the ovals have a more conservative sound? do you have a video/audio clip of your old camry, red?

on my old car i got my muffler mounted for 65 bucks and that was a a good shop. im thinkin of going "can" too but thats only to avoid the s-bend in the exhaust when i change it out. on the other hand, the one red has looks better on a camry imo because of how oem it looks, v6 or not. but looks are all personal preferance.

ovals are physically larger with more packing in it. the sound of the "same" type would be marginally quieter. i would give you a sound clip but its pretty in audible. however i do have something...

all i got, its pretty crappy, it was more to show off the HID's lol.

V6 or not, you see a camry with "LE" on it, its either V6 or i4. doesnt really matter.

if you wanted to hold true OEM styling, you wouldnt throw on a 4" tipped can lol

The dual tip is the truest ive seen in awhile.
=====

however the 4" tip oval one isnt bad if you want to save some money.

thats damon's old car.

or for shits, this is straight off the turbo

i dont want it to be OEM ... but if im gonna go OEM-looking, then technically i should only have 1 tip

i just want something with a good sound, but not so loud that its annoying

even tho the dual-tip is more expensive, i think i might go with yours in the end ... we'll see - i really like the way the one you got fits on the Camry
