Each and everytime my wife uses the cruise control in her '00 Camery, the gas pedel is hard to depress when she disengagess the cc. It's only hard to press that one time after the cc use and then it's fine untill she needs to use the cc again. Any ideas? Thanks

No idea. Maybe try cleaning the throttle body and butterfly valve with some TB cleaner, old rag, and toothbrush.

yeah, its carbon build up on the inside of the butterfly. Just use some throttlebody cleaner and a plastic brush. The brush isnt always needed. Just use the spreay until the back of the plate is cleaned, and hit the sides too.

Cool

if cleaning the throttlebody doesn't fix it. replace the two throttle cables.
don't get the itch to lubricate the cabled themselves. when you do it's better for a very short time, but what you're really doing is attracting that much more dirt into the cable & making the problem worse.

Thank you,Toysrme. I may end up doing that, but at this time, cleaning seems to be working.
