hey wuts up, i have a 99 camry le i recently been doing a few things to my car i have 18'' black rims with a chrome lip, tint, and some car audio goodies(in-dash tv with 2 12" subs) im looking to do a coupler other things but need some advice on wut u guys reccomend. muffler, cold air into the fender and possible spring and strut kit(im running 18" for the summer and possibly 16" for the winter) get back to me guys id appreciate it
since you have the rims I would continue with the look and performance of the car by doing the suspension, also look into getting a custom shop do some custom exhaust work for you if you want a really nice exhaust system, finally the cold air for the car would have to be custom as well because they only make sri intakes for our cars!
1: search please
2: trd body kit for looks
3: trd exhaust for sound(expensive but good)
4: LE i4 or V6? makes a BIG differeance in our reccomendations
5: spring/struts
6: welcome to TN

what would you recomend for suspension i wanna drop the front and make it level with the rear cause it sits up a little higher but i also dont know my limits to how low with the 18's
u could go 2" with 18s(depending on tire size) and be perfectly fine. i believe Tein has springs that drop the front more then the back to even out the gaps. or u counld go all the way and get coilovers and get whatever look u want.
I'm a lil iffy with those springs that drop the front more than the rear from tein esp being last time I went on their site they didn't even list a spring kit for your car that had a lower front, H&R has a pretty nice setup that has like a 1.7 front and a 1.5 in the rear and that should be more than enough for what you're trying to do, or like Bigbird said fully adjustable coilover would be the finally option because they'll do damn near anything you want them too do, a buddy of mine has the tein setup with a 3 inch drop and it looks really nice, but everything sits even
I'm having the Tein S Tech springs, tokico blue struts, and a whiteline sway bar installed tomorrow, along w/ new rims and Portenza RE960AS Pole Positions. The Tein S Tech are rated at a 1.5" front drop and a 0.6" rear drop. All this going onto my 99LE 4-cyl. that was just repainted and tinted. I'll post pics so you can see if the look is what you're after for or not.
Kuruma Motoring. I ordered the Tokico strut/spring combo (HPK 353), but the springs were on back order so I agreed to let them substitute the Tein S Tech instead. Stut/spring package was $500 delivered.
Will do. Where does one get the TRD body kit? I've been to the TRD site numerous times, but don't see anything listed for a gen 4. I'm probably just in the wrong place, but if someone has the link... thanks!
