Injen SRI Causing 'Check Eng." ??

Hey guys, I recently removed my Injen sri off my 97 I4 and I've had nothing but issues so far. I re-installed the stock airbox and now I have this check engine light that's been on for the past 2 days. On top of that, when I take off from a stop, the car "putters". There's a hesitation in the acceleration.

If you guys have any info on this matter, feel free to drop some knowledge on me. Thanks again, guys.

disconnect the battery for about 15 mins and reconnect it. the car was used to a different amount of air (maybe) from the sri and when you put the stock back on, it probably isn't getting the same as it did before.

i think you just need to reset the ecu, really.

Check your work. You might have forgotten to re-connect a sensor or vac line. The IAT sensor plugs into the stock airbox. Listen to Toysrme and pull the code(s.) This will lead you to the circuit being affected.
