Re-painting the Gen3.....

Okay, I am repainting the coupe. Same color, Gunmetal... The previous guy which done the work messed my paint up, anyway...

I am stuck on whether I should leave or shave the side molding... not the door handles though, just the moldings...

What do you guys think?

There's a reason why it have side moldings.

But I can also see why you don't want them. To make your car look cooler.

So I am voting "Leave alone".

What are the moldings for? so you don't hit stuff with the door?

I would say shave it. Its a place where dirt hides.

as everybody is saying, it looks pretty okay with the mouldings shaved off.....but when you look at the car as an entirety, it doesn't fit very well since there are lines where the bumpers go on

if you mold the bumpers on as well, then.....it'll look hot but damn impractical though
