Angry Sowwy

The wheels I bought fell through, the seller ran out of the 5 bolt pattern wheels... Since I have to get new ones, I'll ask before hand about this. Before I just checked to make sure they'd fit, but now I want to make sure they're optimal or close to it, what wheel width and offset will get me the most room for the biggest tire without rubbing? I was looking at 215/45/17s, so if that is as good as it gets without rolling the fenders etc then I'm cool. 17x7, 7.5 or 8? What do you guys think is the optimal size for the camry. I'm lowered on Intrax and Tokicos.

Thanks,
Nathan

first id check out the offset thread in general camry discussion. next, i wouldnt put a 215 on anything bigger then a 7.5" wheel. with 215 u can do almost any offset between 42 and low 30s and have no problems. i have 7" wheels with a 215 and im dissapointed to find there only slightly larger then the factory 205 width(because of the sidewall). id recomend going with a 225 on either a 7 or 7.5 inch wheel, and stay below a 40 offset like 38 or somthing like that.

My old 17x7's were 215/45/17 with a +40 offset. I'm dropped about 2" with Dropzones (tucking in the rear.) I never had an issue with rubbing.

Now with the 19's 235/35/19 +40 offset I needed 5mm spacers, my rear fenders rolled and I still rub.

yes it will but from what im seeing, that price is for one wheel. its a little confusing but there is nothing on that page, cept only once, that says wheels or set of four, and i can bet that ur not gonna find a set of bbs wheels even used for 500 bucks, especially with $25 shipping.
