3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
well im looking at more to do with my car while keeping it 100% california legal. my mods are in my sig. i know someone here will say get wheels but i kind of see them as a waste of money (that i dont have) to be honest. cali legal means no headers, turbo (which i wudnt do anyway) or removal of cat so i think performance wise im done. im looking into new speakers and ignition wires (for kicks and giggles) but other than that i cant think of anything else.
I would go with aftermarket speakers... you'll notice a world of difference in sound quality over the stockers
yeah im thinking about saving up for infinity kappa perfects. if not then ill go cheapo and just get the infinity kappa speakers lol. ignition wires im definately doing though.
I'm thinking.. 100shot and hide the nitrous bottle under a duffle bag with the bottom cut out.

Like stated above upgrade your entertainment inside the car so you can use the term "all show and no go". Spearkers, Screens (if your into that), Subs, Navi, etc.
ive never thought about hids... i dont like the screen idea and im happy with my bass, so speakers is the next thing. no nitrous, i dont think my engine will hold up to it nor do i need it since im constantly on the 405 freeway in la going 10mph. no tranny swap (too expensive). i think ill go with the glow gauges. i really need a sway bar that will work with my car! sorry for the randomness lol. damn this is turning into an expense. that should keep me held up for a while. thanks guys
If you need a rear sway bar, you can try whiteline. Have you tried doing internals? I'm from cali and I'm not sure if doing internals are street legal. This may sound stupid but you can try gutting your car. It will make your car handle better but you got those sound stuff....
changing ur internals will not only change emissions of the engine, but it would prolly cost more then the nitrus and tranny swap combined. ud have to do a P&P, ported intake plenum, larger TB, rods, pistions, cam, header, full exhaust and a custon engine management system...and thats not including the fuel system upgrades. it would be more money then puting on a turbo and ud get less hp.
