No love for GEN 3.5 clear headlights?

Hi, im pretty new to the forum , but have been reading for past couple weeks. I recently purchased a 95 camry xle sedan, and looking to do some simple mods, headlights, grille, etc.

I have been lookin ebay and other places online for some cleared out headlight assemblies , and it seems to be very hard to find ones that are made for the 1995 and 1996 models, along with a a few other items i cant find made for the 95-96. ANY HELP, and why so hard to find stuff for 95-96 models? Did i buy the cast away of of the gen 3.x ? lol

I was also looking to find a 95 or 96 couple to play around with, but if its gonna be this hard to mod it , i might have to try a honda or something.

Buy a Honda, just like EVERYONE else. There ain't jack for the Camry's. I'll be flat out honest with that. BUT, that is why I like it. Most of my mods (And others on this forum), are custom, which makes our cars much more unique, and thats how most of us like it. All you see is played out honda's with the same played out crap on them most the time. I have a '96 XLE V6, I know. Most of my stuff is custom, and thats how I like it. I know I will not see it on other Camry's around.

You can do a headlight swap though. They sell some nice headlights for the gen 3. But you'll have to change the grill to the gen 3 as well. It would look cool though cuz the top would be 3 and the bottom 3.5. Other guys have done it, just search around.

yeah for the play around car i might just do that, still have to do work on the camry sedan though.. I have been reading an article on tn talkin about how to clear out your headlights yourself, (looked like a lengthy process) if i cant find anything. i will probably end up taking 2-3 weeks to try that lol. if i do that do i need a special type of lamp to put in afterwards?

There are several people here on the site that have done it. The grill needs to be from the Gen 3.0. The bumper is a little different under the headlight, but most people keep the bumper anyway.

Also, you can use a '97-'01 Camry/'99-'03 (I think it was '03) TRD Rear Sway Bar in out cars for better handling.
