take door panel off

I have a problem with taking off the door panel on my 1993 Camery. I can't seem to get it off where the door knob is. How do you take the door knob off ?

Nice site, I wish I had seen that two days ago before I took my door panels off to replace my front speakers. I got them off but the first door handle took maybe 20 minutes, I didn't want to break it but couldn't figure out what was holding it in. The second one took maybe ten seconds.

Page 1 (of 4) is where the information on the door handle is.

Speaking of speakers, my front left speaker doesn't work. Didn't work with the factory radio, the new speaker doesn't work with the new radio (Sony GT410U). I'm pretty sure it's the connection at the speaker, I'll have to look at that close tonight - there was a thunderstorm last night so I wasn't working on it.

the interior handle bezel must be pried out gently or it will crack.

use a small flat and gently jam it b/t the pivot points of the [lock and handle] and [bezel].

the rest will be piece of cake. remember, if you have to yank it hard, then theres a bolt nearby needs attention.
