4th Generation Low Fuel Light Stuck On, Help Plz

hey guys, well last weekend my low fuel light popped up for no reason, odd because i still had well over a quarter of a tank. So i drove for a few days hoping ti would trun off but no luck, so today i filled the car up completely and it still is on. What to do? Is there a fuse or something controlling this that may have went bad, or is what ever sensor that controls the light broken.

Any help?

Unhook your battery, if you're lucky that'll reset it.

take a look at your fuel pump and check the floater to see if it's stuck

if not, I think your haynes manual will have a procedure for checking all the electrical signals at the fuel pump
