wagon spotting

spotted a really clean wagon the other day on the way to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Had a dent on the right door but other than that was spotless.

Yep, I agree, they are pretty ugly out back.... but hey, I'm probably buying one tomorrow

If they last 200k miles, and haul all the kids and cargo... at 25-30mpg, what a deal for less than $5k used.... I'm happy to drive "ugly" back and forth to work

I have seen two in person, and now three on Craigslist in the last couple months around here. So they don't seem too rare. But I never saw one in California.

That c pillar treatment does seem to be a love-it or hate-it affair though, and the rear view does seem pretty incongruous with the rest of the car. But it apparently works well from a practical standpoint.

I actually like the Honda Accord wagons better from an aesthetic, but these darned early to mid 90s Camrys just seem to be nearly bullet proof.

My coupe is sexier with a busted fender and tweaked hood than that wagon in mint condition :p.

the scepter wagon was made in usa....yes the usa... and it is alot more heavy duty then a honda accord wagon alot more. remember the wagons weren't made as a sports car they were made for families.

when hooked up they can hold their own......
