Dragon is the cheapo product ... hence the price ... cheaper materials and a crappy filter

i like the Weapon-R Secret Weapon better tahn the Injen, but both are excellent companies ... go with whichever you want

im going to be getting a Weapon-R Secret Weapon Intake next month probably

Well one thing it's totally different than other intakes because of the pipe in a pipe design which supposely allows more air come in while still moving much faster or something like that. It's hard to ask for an opinion on this because most people just buy one and it's not like you get someone who tryed different types.

Just how some people believe Injen intakes are the same as the ebay intakes because it's a regualr pipe and filter. At least with the secret weapon intake the pipe is definitely different and I noticed for myself it makes a different unique sound on my camry compared to my friend who has the same motor (5sfe) but he put on an ebay intake.

In the end it's just an intake and the minute you put on a exhaust system it just over takes it in the sound department so yea... I can tell you that the secret weapon came nicely packaged with extra stuff and ram air kit so that's a plus.

a true ram air is an intake that uses the force of air at highspeeds to add "pressure" to the incomming air. the short ram for the 2.2 is an intake where the filter rests where the airbox used to be. a cold air intake snakes the airfilter into the fender.

as far as ur choices, id go for the cheapest, neither will add more then 1 hp especially if its a short ram intake. hey add sound and some bling, thats it. however the sound is worth it IMO...

expect ur car to sound like this

yeah u can, but AEM is the only company i know of that sells them separatly, but keep in mind the CAI will only add a little more hp if any, so i wouldnt go to great legnths to set one up for little gains over a SIR. but its ur money, do what u think is best.

The ram air thingy came free with my purchase but I haven't put it on yet but I like the way the intake looks too lol. Bling and sound is what you notice and a lil better throttle response, while you doing that good time to clean the throttlebody and IAC valve too.
