its gone

well im am sad to say that my car is gone...it was totaled yesterday in michigan on I-75...it was me and a friend and i was not driving cause it was a longer drive for me than her(yes i know a girl driving but shes a good driver), well we went to merg over to the left lane doing about 70-75 cause the speed limit was 70 and didn't see the car in the blind spot and when she went to correct it she lost control of the car and drifted across both lanes and went down into a ditch(which is the median) and slamed the left side into a tree, both air bags went off the rear and driver side windows all shattered, windshield was broken but still there...we were lucky enough that my friend acted quick enough cause once we went into the ditch we were heading strait on to a tree and if we went into it, we would have had the car cut right in half as the cops and paramedics said and we both would have died on impact...as for the injuries i got a few cuts on my face, swollen nose and strained a back.neck muscle and made a shoulder injury worse, as for my friend she broke her arm in 3 spots and shattered her elbow, she went in for surgery the same day and now is said to have problems with her elbow for the rest of her life...this was also my first accident i have ever been in...i only have one picture as of now and if you have other questions to ask feel free but this right now is hard for me to talk about...the drivers side is also the only side that has damage the other side is intact but still has damage to it just not as bad as this side....o and the blood on the door is mine...sometimes a girl is more important that your car...

That shit is crazy, you guys are lucky not to have been more seriously injuried.

Sucks to see a coupe go out like that though.

Unhappy

I'm so sorry.
Usually we say, "At least no one got hurt" but you both did.
This is just unfortunate and sad.
I am glad that things happened in such a way that no one was killed.

yo bro, i'm sorry , i totaled my god damn 2002 xle fully loaded , rims, and secret system, all gone. one girl broke her pelvis, the other one chipped two vertibrae and part of her fuckin finger came off, not to mention her head was fucking swollen. I just had cuts on my face, and severly bruised muscles. Shit like this sucks, people don't know what its like until it happens, it completely changes your mental persective on life. Everyday i'm alive i don't worry about anything, I put my hours into my car and my girlfriend, and I try to stay happy, because that shit made me realize you can die like it's nothing. I'm sorry to hear what happened man, I hope she turns out better than now, it might, and you too. You need someone to talk to, I for damn sure don't have a problem, I wish I had someone to talk to when this happened to me.

R.I.P your camry too, hate to see it go like that.

edit

Dude is right, my car was fucking demolished by the telephone pole, but the person at the point of impact was absolutely fine, and i had minor - medium injuries, the two girls weren't wearing seatbelts, which is the only reason they got messed up. These cars are crazy safe, which is why I stick to them. I treat this 94 camry like it's a 2007, even though my brother and mother before me were horrible to it, I'm doing what I can to make it into what it's supposed to be like. You have your life though. A car can be worked with, but you only get one life.

holy shit, i'm glad that you're okay... i hope you learned a lesson though... NEVER let a girl drive your car, if you ever wanna see it in one piece again... i don't care how hot she is, if you don't wanna lose your car, you won't let her drive it

first off i just want to say fuck you, but not in a rude way just a very annoyed way...i don't care what people say about girl drivers this girl is my best friend and i would let her drive my car anyday, and i did not learn a lesson from letting a girl drive...and shes driven it many of times before and never a problem, so if you want to say shit about this post somewhere else where i can't see cause no one talks about this girl in a rude way...and yes she is fucking hot and that has nothing to do with why she crashed....

on the other hand i just want to thank everyone else for caring though...im just going through a lot right now and i hate having thoughts on all of this...mostly that i could have died yesterday

i don't know what it is, like, the fact that you could have died, or the fact that she could have, and either way it would have been severe strain...it's nuts, this is going to bother you for a while, everyday you have to make yourself feel a little better. Make jokes with her even though you two are hurt, just laugh, it helps.
