3rd Generation Jerked on inspection...

So I left my Gen3 at STS for an inspection...all day..7 am till 5..even walked home from STS which is stupid far, about 4.6 miles.. but I got to think about my car a lot

regardless, they put two new tires on , wiper blades, oil change....

I go pick it up, pay out of my ass for it..and..

" Since your car is old, we had to run a dyno, but our dyno machine is broken, so you have to drive to oakdale".

Dude..

Oakdale is about uh....30 fucking minutes from my house. I was pissed.

Granted it's OBD1, i don't give a shit, but if that's the case, they should have told me their dyno was FUCKED UP beforehand!

Do you think I should complain? Leave it alone?

I was pretty fucking pissed, seeing as I wanted to work on it today. Just goes to show what people will do to get the money. On the other hand.. The steering is more responsive, and it doesn't shake, and sounds much better, and the tires are gripping like an angry wife on her cheating husbands ****.

well , it's a big deal considering I had class today and I do tommorow, and I would have went somewhere else, and I didn't even get my inspection sticker, so in the even that I get pulled over, I don't really like not having that.

i'm guessing emissions inspection, they dyno the car with a sniffer up its ass to make sure it is still burning "clean"

Just leave it I guess. Its not really their fault their dyno broke, but they SHOULD have informed you about it before hand.

they no longer have to use dynos for yearly inspections...they just stick the OBD reader, check the brakes & lights

im in and out in 15 mins with a new inspection sticker
