4th Generation Wiper motor problem

1997 Camry LE----I have 2 problems with my wiper motor, first the wipers will not return to the proper stop point and second the iterval (delay) function does not work. The wipers work normally except for these 2 problems. I read that if the wipers dont return to the proper stop position then replace the wiper motor, has anyone tried to repair the motor/internal switch?
What and where is the interval module located?

Thanks

(Assuming the switch is good) If the wipers dont park properly, the motor needs replacement. But in your case with the INT not working, the switch may also be defective as well. So I would start with a motor first.
