Tips on accessing radiator drain cock- 95 1mzfe

Hello all

I am trying a DIY drain and refill and have located the drain cock for my 95 1mzfe but cannot reach from the top as there is no space and hoses are in the way. On the bottom of the car, there is a plastic cover with holes in intervals but again it is too small for my fingers. Is there any way to open up the drain?

Also, how much fluid can I expect to come out since I am not planning on opening up the engine block? Is it possible/good idea to mix the Toyota red with another brand?

Take off the plastic cover underneath the drain cock. ~10 bolts with 10mm heads.
