Im pretty sure im just using the wrong spots or maybe my car doesnt like it.
Blue arrow = Where I just tried
Red= Where i had it before
Green = where I didnt try yet.

weird ... ive never done this in a camry before [obviously, i have a bone stock 4cyl] ... but ive setup a few gauges w/ friends in boosted and N/A vehicles
im tryin to figure out what would be the correct spot for a 1MZ ... it seems like if Blue didnt work, then Green should
i thought u were supposed to be on the red/green side...

Well it gives me a reading if i have it the other way when i rev... so the tubing has to be good. I hooked it up the original way
I'm gonna try the green arrow tomorrow and see if that does anything...
After trying a few spots I hooked it back up to the original spot and it still reads 0 and 20 when i rev so the gauge and tubing work.

what you can do is go to a store and buy a cheapo gauge and install it and if it works like it should, return it and return yu current one because you know this one is taking a shit on you.

if you put your finger on it and it sucks it, then there's vacuum. then hook up your gauge to it and see what it says. if it shows no vacuum, then there's probably something wrong with the gauge.

lol. I get no hissing when I pull those vacuum lines.
Theres one way behind the intake manifold.
it looks like a small cylinder and it has one tube, it came loose the other day and there was hissing. Should I hook it up to that?

Ok... So I just finished hooking up my emanage main harness and I figured I'll check the vacuum crap out..
So in that picture above I tried the line there with the blue arrow. Sure enough I got 20 PSI when i started the car... It dropped to around 19.
I rev the engine and it hardly moves... I got WOT and it goes to 15.
Im guessing this line is no good either or maybe something is wrong with the car...
