^ nice sig man, i likes it.

and i have to agree, unless ur car simply wont be able to make the trip that far i would drive it. its not often u get to see the country on a road trip, especially if its not a pointless roadtrip. but my biggest suggestion would be to do the math. a cross country tow is gonna cost at least a grand id say, but if that is cheaper then the gas, hotel, food, and miles u put on the car then ship the bitch. u may also want to consider shipping it by train, u can get a ticket for fairly cheap and ship for fairly cheap, cheaper then by truck.

Cant drive it. I start work next week and I have to fly to Boston for a film screening and then straight to work. I would love to take that road trip again. I did it last summer when I worked at NBC but I can't do it this time around. There's no doubt the car will make it to LA.....

Dont smoke either.

Call some moving companies and ask them, they might have some ideas.

Speaking of which, are you hiring a mover for your household items? If so, see if you can have them put the car in the truck with the rest of the stuff – that’s what my brother-in-law did with his Honda Civic when he was moving about ten years ago.

Otherwise you could just go to to Louisiana, then fly back to Pennsylvania when you have the time and just drive it back

My friend is moving from NJ to LA also for work. SHe is shipping her Acura TSX with Cass Logistics. She didnt have the number off hand but she said she googled "car transport companies" and she narrowed it down to them. I beleive she is payin about $800 with insurance. I shipped my BMW from Miami to NJ and paid like $550. So I think $800 is good.

3rd Generation

I used Direct Express Auto Transport to ship my Camry from PA to MO after I bought it off eBay. I had a good experience with them and they were reasonably priced compared to others I checked with. Only time I've ever shipped a car, so I have nothing to compare to. The dealer I bought from said all his shippers would have been at least $200 more.

Here's a link to their website. You can get an instant quote online.
