welp i finally got a chance to really dig in and try to get thes headers on but just dug my self a hole. i started with the bolts on the cat and they were literaly fused with the flanges. i tried hacking the nuts off but the damn things are so rusted that i cant even knock them out of the flange even with the nut gone. what should i do?
another problem i found is i really have no clue what how to get the rear bank exhaust manifold off. i really want to avoid having to take this to a shop to get it done cuz i know they will charge me out the ass and im not even gonna gain that much from it. any advice from the pros would really help. thanks guys.
Penitrating oil & an impact driver.
Penitrating oil & a breaker bar.
run it back & forth until the rust breaks free.
Or add a minute, or few of torching to both - or if you must, go drive it till it's hot, but careful with burns!
The rear bank you access from under the car. Tho it can somewhat be done from the top if you lay over the bay & have good reach. And don't mind the cuts on your arm (long-sleeve shirt is a must!)

Couple of sprays and soak for 15 minutes and it should get them off.

Damn that sucks. I used some to get mine off, went pretty smooth. I had to install a sandwhich adapter and it was a bitch to do with the header on.
