01 camry le driver side window problems...

i originally had the same problem with the passenger side window but eventually i got fed up and just took it to toyota and got the motor replaced...
but now the same exact thing is happening to my driver side window

if i was to lower the window completly i cant ever bring it compltly up it pretty much
goes half way and then dies on me and i have to wait about 2-3 minutes and try again
and it goes up a little more i usually have to wait almost 10 minutes to bring it up compltly
and if i keep trying to put it up nothing will ever happen i have to actually wait a few minutes before pressing the button and then it slowly goes up about an inch or two sometimes even a little more depening..

im thinking about taking off the door panel and taking a peak at the motor and wires is there anything i should be looking for or has anyone had the same problem

same problem, different car... much older car. then again, i guess 6 years could be enough time for things to affect the bailey channel.

get yourself some graphite powder and apply it down the bailey channels. try not to get any on your clothes and clean off any overspray. it's odd that it's happened to both doors. i dare say it's more likely to be dirt down your bailey channels than faulty electric motors as those things tend to work for decades.
