4th Generation Replace Lights in Dash and A/C Module

The lamps have gone out behind my speedometer and the left side of the a/c control module, anyone know where I can buy replacements for these?

98 Camry CE V6

Thanks

You should be able to find the bulbs at a good auto parts store. I replaced both the bulbs in the AC/Heater panel. The auto store bulbs were a touch wider at the base but with a firm push went into the socket.

To replace the bulbs in the AC/Heat panel you need to remove the knobs and then you will find screws under them. Remove the screws and just the very front part of the panel will come forward enough to change the bulbs out. I can't remember but I think I took the radio out of the way (take ashtray out and pull the trim gently from below and then pull gently on the sides, next remove two 10mm bolts holding the radio and disconnect the wiring, antenna)

Check out the link to get details on how to remove the dash cluster

I am trying to replace my dash bulbs as well, but I can not get the cover off of the instrument cluster. It does not just pop off as the instructions at the look say. I took the screws out, and the bottom two clips came undone, but I can not get the sides to let go. I know there are clips back there somewhere, but I am afraid of breaking the cover. Any suggestions or tips??

Well, like everything on this vehicle, there are probably some Jesus clips back there. They're tight as hell, but you just have to pull hard and pray to Jesus that you don't snap them.

Thats the way the inside door panel and radio console is anyway, but I haven't gotten to the dash yet so don't take my word for it.

Still, the haynes manual says there are only the two screws, so I bet you just need to pry them really hard.

That's the one I was following. Trust me, they don't just pop out. I even tried prying it off with a screw driver and it still won't budge.
