AM Radio Buzzzz

I was hearing a buzz in my am radio when i went under bridges and suspected my ignition wires so I installed new plugs and wires. Buzz is still there. I got a good kick when I touched the coil wire and the fender at the same time. I can hold the coil wire by itself while the car is running but I get jolted when I touch car ground. Where can I test next?
Thanks a million for any input.

AM Buzzing

Mostly just guessing here ... I haven't heard of this problem occurring lately.

Does the buzzing change noticeably when you vary the engine rpm, as in revving the engine with the gas pedal?
If you have changed the plugs and wires, the problem might be someplace closer to the radio unit itself. I would suggest taking a look at the antenna plug connection at the rear of the radio. Get some contact cleaner spray, and apply generously to both antenna plug and jack, reassemble and test again. In fact, disconnect all the connections at the rear of your audio unit and clean thoroughly with contact cleaner spray, let dry a minute, and reconnect.
.....
Let us know what you find out.
