doesnt switch gears???? can you explain more what do you mean cause if its running in first then you have serious problems and i doubt you would be able to keep highway speeds

an SRI wouldnt affect your transmission

and if you mean it takes longer to switch [like goes up to 5k instead of switching at 3k], then that means you have SRI-Leadfoot Syndrome (pretty common when u first get a new intake)

either way, its not because of the SRI ... you either fcked somethin up, or a part has gone bad

^what he said mate....

CAI or SRI has nothing to do with your gear! Maybe you didn't pressed hard enough on the accelerator....

I hope you know that they suppose to send you the right filter when they get their shipment. It's on there website. Your just heavy-footed and reset the ecu and drive normal and it should pick up on your driving style. Seriously intakes messing up transmissions wtf lol!!!

try accelerating really slowly it should still shift at the reg spot. Also your ecu might take some time to reset to normal driving

and it is so loud.. like really loud. ha, yeah the weapon R came with some kind of hyper K2 filter, they have the SW filters backordered...so they gave that one free till the other is shipped. would a muffler make it sound better than stock? and anyone know about the whole reving up way so high?

Is there a light that says POWER in the instrument cluster? Check the button next to the shift lever and make sure it's not depressed. That can do that. The button says ECT on it.

its probably just because yournot used to driving it fast, when you accelerate faster the car is meant to shift really high. i dont think you have a problem, just realizing it shifts high when the pedal is to the ground..thats all

10 seconds is not resetting jack...even ur radio should have been okay with 10 seconds...

5 minutes minimum to reset. I personally do 15.

When i put on my SRI i noticed not much difference with the transmission...
SRI Leadfoot syndrom is mainly the problem i had. Its funny too because the sound made me think i was going fast but indeed my car was going slower than with the oem intake...which is why i'm back to square one with a K&N drop in. haha
