3rd Generation Air Conditioning Cap??

Hey I got a question

My buddy from work is coming over to recharge my AC today. He took the pressure and noticed theres no cap on whatever rod/tube thing he put the pressure gauge on.

Anyone know what this cap is called or where I can get one.... or does anyone know what im talking about??

I'd take a picture, but i'm at work.

Thanks

It's called a schrader valve cap. It's slightly bigger than the cap over the tire valve. It's there to keep dirt out of the valve. Some of them even have and o-ring inside to help prevent refrigerant loss through the schrader valve. Go to any auto parts store and tell them you want a schrader valve cap for the A/C on your 94 Camry and you can get one for a couple of dollars. It's really not a big deal.

Incidently, your 94 should use R134A refrigerant.
