ok here i go a couple of day a go i was driving whrni notice my emergency bake came on... what now !!! i sed i stoped and pull the release lever and it did not go away any way i drove home turn the car off then on and it went away but now it on and not going off i tried to see if it was the switch but it seem like i need to do more than just pull the lower dash offf and stuff is their a fuse attached to this thing or is my 94 coupe gettin old
Do you mean the emergency brake light is comes on the dash, or that the e-brake is actually engaged? Seems impossible that the e-brake would pull itself up when your driving...
dude, first of all, theres something called punctuation marks. learn how to use them. second, check to see if any of the wires are torn. also check to see if there is anything wrong with your rear brakes.
it may also be a bad brake sensor, it went bad on my old car and even when disengaged the brake light was on, after each time i turned off the car it would reset but would happen again when i moved the ebrake again.. if ur brake fluid level is ok then thats prolly ur problem.
thanks alot my brake master cylender went recently and i was about to get it replaced when i saw tht the fluid was below the limit an needed to be filled and ill make more sense next time thamks once againg and yes i do mean the emergency brake light is comes on the dash
